![]() Orange County School of Martial Arts students had a very strong showing at the 2009 World Dang (Tang) Soo Do Union Championships / Battle of LA on Saturday, May 2nd. We are extremely proud of everyone who competed and excited for those who left with a medal. More importantly though I'm most proud of the manner that they conducted themselves - with discpline, respect, courage, enthusiasm and genuine comaraderie. Parents, regardless of how your children finished in the medal count you too should be proud of the way they demonstrated the core values teach. And now for the results... ![]() Congratulations to Takoda Romero for placing 2nd in sparring at the Great Pumpkin Tournament in Corona, CA on Sunday, October 19th. Takoda won 3 awesome matches on the way to his first ever trophy in a tough division that saw Chris Haugen lose his first match to the eventual winner. Takoda's mom said that before the tournament he very sure that he would win a trophy this time. His hard work and growing confidence is paying off!
