Orange County School of Martial Arts students had a very strong showing at the 2009 World Dang (Tang) Soo Do Union Championships / Battle of LA on Saturday, May 2nd.  We are extremely proud of everyone who competed and excited for those who left with a medal.  More importantly though I'm most proud of the manner that they conducted themselves - with discpline, respect, courage, enthusiasm and genuine comaraderie.  Parents, regardless of how your children finished in the medal count you too should be proud of the way they demonstrated the core values teach.  And now for the results...
We had 15 of 18 competitors take home 31 medals including 11 Gold Medals and the Men's Grand Champion in Sparring.  Please offer congratulations to your fellow students and ask them about their experience.  Competitors please share your experience and bring your "bling" to the next class you attend!  Also don't for get to thank Mr. Matt Torchia for his excellent coaching and encouragement.
