There's more new COLOR in the school! We are pleased to announce the promotion of 14 Tang Soo Do students who left it all on the floor during two 2-hr tests this weekend.  One of our Team Turtle Students, Asher A., went for the GOLD by graduating into the Jr Kicks program.  And once again one student was recognized for standing out head and shoulders above the rest with his extraordinary power and focus. Caden C. captured his SECOND OCKicks MVP!  Way to go Caden!

There's more new COLOR in the school! We are pleased to announce the promotion of 19 Tang Soo Do students who left it all on the floor during two 2-hr tests yesterday.  We graduated two our our Team Turtle Students, Alex H. and Cole B., into the Jr Kicks program.  They rocked the house with their Team Turtle forms demonstration!  In addition, one student was recognized for standing out among his peers and really impressing the instructors with his fantastic stances and knowledge. Noah J. shined and is our newest OCKicks MVP!  Way to go Noah!

On  Saturday May 1st we held our Spring Red Belt Test.  We are extremely proud of the efforts of our 11 candidates who demonstrated the fire associated with the belt.  Our theme in April was In Neh, the Korean word for endurance.  Our new red belts showed endurance, perseverance and indomitable spirit with their efforts during their test.  Congratulations to you all!

Team Turtle Rocks!
Team Turtle instructor Kyo Sa Mike Torchia proudly promotes students at two ceremonies on 4/5 and 4/12.  We are especially proud of the efforts of Alexandra Hamm, Cole Burke and Lucas Demarco who will be graduating from Team Turtle with their first Jr. Kicks test this June.  Go Team Turtle!

There's more new COLOR in the school! We are pleased to announce the promotion of 29 Tang Soo Do students who left it all on the floor during two 2-hr tests earlier today.  In addition, one student was recognized for standing out among his peers and really impressing the instructors with his fantastic focus.  Jake Kuta shined today and is our newest OCKicks MVP!  Way to go Jake!

We would like also recognize Michelle Garcia, Kyrin Garcia and Derrick Porter for their outstanding dedication, effort and improvement during the last two months.  Michelle in particular really stood out and impressed not only the instructors but everyone who watched her shine.  Great job guys!

And finally this test marked the first crop of Team Turtle graduates to reach Green Belt in Tang Soo Do!  Nicholas Haugen, Erin Gilliland, Douglas Tuohy, Maile Conger and Faris Khalek each started in the Team Turtle program and graduated to Jr Kicks on Oct 25, 2008.

Congratulations to all those who rose to the challenge in front of parents, friends and fellow students during our belt testing on Saturday morning.  Starting promptly at 8am students labored for nearly 3 hours under the careful attention of their instructors demonstrating their skills.  Congratulations to the following students for achieving a new rank in Tang Soo Do.
