 There is new color in the school! We are excited and extremely pleased at the results of the latest Gup and Team Turtle Tests. It was our largest testing group to date at 42! We hope the experience was a positive one for everyone. Great Pumpkin Tournament 2008 10/20/2008
 Congratulations to Takoda Romero for placing 2nd in sparring at the Great Pumpkin Tournament in Corona, CA on Sunday, October 19th. Takoda won 3 awesome matches on the way to his first ever trophy in a tough division that saw Chris Haugen lose his first match to the eventual winner. Takoda's mom said that before the tournament he very sure that he would win a trophy this time. His hard work and growing confidence is paying off! In September, Sa Bom Nim Gilliland spoke about leadership. He described how important it is for our students to develop leadership qualities as they progress in their training. These qualities are useful in the Dojang, but more importantly they are invaluable at school, at work, and in life. Leadership is a skill that can be achieved through practice of Tang Soo Do.
